Beta Tester Guide

Welcome to the Boss Voice beta. This page gives you the recommended setup, the fastest way to complete your first session, and the exact kind of feedback that is most helpful during the beta.

Recommended Setup

  • Desktop or laptop
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
  • External USB microphone if available
  • Headphones if available
  • Quiet room with minimal background noise
Mobile note: iPhone recording works, but audio fidelity may be lower than a desktop setup with a dedicated external microphone.

Tested Browsers And Devices

  • Google Chrome on desktop
  • Microsoft Edge on desktop
  • Apple Safari on iPhone 11

If you use a different browser or device, that is still useful beta coverage. Please mention exactly what you used when reporting feedback.

Quickstart

  1. 1Go to boss-voice.com and create an account.
  2. 2Log in and review the privacy and retention links if you want more detail.
  3. 3On the Practice page, accept the recording consent checkbox.
  4. 4Click Start New Session.
  5. 5Record a vowel sample.
  6. 6Record a speech sample.
  7. 7Wait for analysis to complete.
  8. 8Review the Session Results page.
  9. 9Open the Dashboard page to view your history.

Recording Tips

  • Sit about 4 to 8 inches from the microphone.
  • Speak clearly at a natural volume.
  • Avoid touching the desk or boom arm while recording.
  • Use headphones if possible to reduce playback echo.
  • Record in a quiet room with as little background noise as possible.
